Food, Agro & Allied Industry Limited was incorporated in 2001 as an agricultural produce processing company. In 2003-04 period a 50ton per day capacity modern malting plant was imported from Belgium for malting abundantly available sorghum to replace use of barley malts.Construction of the factory, storage facilities and Utilities were completed in 2007at a cost of N1.50 Billion. Production trial, employment and training of staff, assessment and approval of plant, process and product by several Food & Beverage Industries were completed in 2008. Commercial production started in early 2009.
