Completed in 2007, the Salient features of this plant are: Current Capacity is 70 Tons/day raw sorghum intake. By 1st quarter of 2010, this capacity will be raised to 100 tons/day. Complete automatic materials handling from grain storage to finishing Three stage grain cleaning before grain intake for processing. Steeping tanks with automatic loading, water filling, aeration and grain transfer system Saladin type germination boxes with large aeration fans, programmed mechanical grain turning & transfer system. 4-level Kilns with large ID fans, programmed grain turning and indirect steam heating.
Degerming machines with programmed dust aspiration vacuum cyclones. Malt silos for bagging and bulk loading. Reliable independent utilities like gas supply, new gas generators backed by brand new standby DG set, dual fuel steam boilers, Boreholes, water treatment an storage tanks, Avery Nigeria maintained 60 ton weighbridge etc etc. Adequate storage silos and protected warehouse spaces for raw and malted sorghum. Laboratory with latest state of the art equipments for testing and analysis of raw, under process grains and finished products.
